Sprouts Farmers Market has officially arrived in Buckeye, delivering on a request residents have made for years.
The new specialty grocery store opened July 24 at 20975 W. Roosevelt St., near the Verrado master-planned community, with a ribbon-cutting at 6:45 a.m.
Residents have long demanded better grocery options — and this opening answers that call.
Mayor Eric Orsborn noted that specialty grocery access was the city's most consistent resident request.
The store is part of a larger retail surge, with over a million square feet of new commercial space planned near I-10 and Verrado Way.
This fresh produce market is open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The location right near Verrado is super convenient if you live in that area. For those of us on the other side of town it's still a bit of a drive but honestly worth it.
I'm glad it's open but let's be real, we need more than one new grocery store for how many people have moved here in the last two years.
7am to 10pm daily is perfect for our schedule. No more rushing after work to a store that closes at 9.

The bulk foods section is really good if you haven't checked it out yet. Way better prices on nuts and grains than driving all the way to Goodyear.

Went to the ribbon cutting at 6:45am. Yes I was that person. No regrets.
We have been waiting for this forever!! Finally drove over there this morning and the produce section alone was worth the trip. So happy it's here.
